Partial Denture to Replace missing front Teeth with Gold Inlay

Here is an image of a patient not all that long ago with a love for Gold in his teeth. The patient can bee seen with a few missing teeth in the Before image and then the teeth having been replaced avoids the black space in his smile and adds a bit of sparkle with the Gold inlay. The color match was near perfect in this job and when The patient has a scale and clean of his remaining teeth he will have a very nice appearance.

This Denture was made using Acrylic so that we can easily add more teeth if required to it. A tooth addition is a same Day procedure and starts at $200 if required. The front teeth placed on this Denture are a gum fitted design so this means that there is no pink acrylic showing at all. This is to our advantage as our patient has a very high smile line and we do not want to spoil the look of the Denture by showing a border between the pink acrylic and the gum.

The gold inlay was very handy in reducing the amount of gaps in between the teeth when we made this Denture. The amount of space we needed to fill up is larger than the patient’s width of tooth and so this way we can use a similar sized Denture tooth to his natural tooth and use the gold inlay in order to fill the space in his smile. In terms of fit it was a perfect fit. No adjustment was required in this job. We simply fitted the Denture into the patient’s mouth with a firm click as the clasps engaged the back teeth.

We checked his bite to be even and the patient was happily on his way with the Denture. It has now been about 3 months since the fitting and the Dentures are happily being worn and used with absolute comfort and the best appearance.
